الملخص :
تعد منظمة الايكواس في مجال تسوية النزاعات التي حدثت في غرب القارة الافريقية من التجارب العالمية الرائدة في هذا المجال، لذلك تعد اول منظمة ذات طابع اقتصادي عملت على توسيع صلاحياتها لتشمل القضايا السياسية والأمنية، لما لهذه العلاقة من قضايا بمسائل التنمية الاقتصادية. لذلك سعت الدول الافريقية منذ الاستقلال الى تكوين تكتلات اقتصادية نابغة من فكرة زعمائها مع استنادها الى رؤية جماعية واقتناع مشترك، بأن عليهم واجباً ملحاً يستلزم استحصال الفقر ووضع بلدانهم في طريق التنمية والامن والاستقرار وهو ما سعت اليه دول غرب افريقيا بأنشائهم لمجموعة الايكواس والتي تحاول تحقيق ما يمكن تحقيقة من تنمية دول هذه المجموعة واستتباب الامن والاستقرار بناءاً على الأهداف والمبادئ. وعليه تحاول هذه الدراسة من تقييم حدود فاعليه دور الايكواس في تسوية النزاعات في منطقة غرب افريقيا من خلال تسليط الضوء على المقاربة الأمنية في تسوية الازمة في دولة ساحل العاج.

The role of ECOWAS in resolving conflicts in the West Africa: Ivory Coast as a model

Abstract
ECOWAS is considered ,in the field of dispute settlement that happened in West African continent, as one of the leading global experiences in this field. Therefore ,it is the first organization of an economic nature that worked to expand its powers to include political and security issues, due to this relationship with issues of economic development. That is why, since independence, African countries have sought to form economic blocs inspired by the idea of their leaders, based on a collective vision and a common conviction that the have an urgent duty that requires the eradication of poverty and putting their countries on the way to development , security and stability, which is what West African countries sought by establishing the ECOWAS group , which is trying to achieve what is possible . Achieving the development of the countries of this group and establishing security and stability based on goals and principles . Accordingly this study attempts evaluate the limits of the effectiveness of the role of ECOWAS in resolving the crisis in the country of Ivory Co,ast.
