Abstract
The everlasting tendency for the evil powers are prevailing still in this world no matter how much educational and moralistic institutions advocate following the righteous path guidance and doing good whenever man is exposed to hard human situations and experiences. Righteousness in every aspect of life leads nowhere but to safety, tranquility and clear conscience. Those who lack the latter representations are ready to sacrifice the moralistic principles and the elements of good for the path evil for the sake of fulfilling their mean devilish desires.
The paper deals in the first place with those characters depicted by George Bernard Shaw that follow the path of evil in their daily lives for the sake of making a great amount of ill-gotten money possible, a great reputation, or any other disgraceful deeds to be achieved by any illegal way possible. Thus, the paper tackles those evil characters depicted in the dramatist’s play entitled Widowers’ Houses, which form one of the significant aspects of the axis of evil in his drama. This study unfolds the ways how those characters have been become evil and how the causes behind their unrighteous deeds have obliged them to be so.
Key word: evil: as a noun it means wrong-doing or sin, and as an adjective it means harmful, bad or wicked
محور الشر في بيوت أرامل جي بي شو

الملخص
أن النزعة ألأبدية لقوى الشر ماتزال تسود في هذا العالم بغض النظر عما تدعو وبشكل كبيرالمؤسسات التربوية وألأخلاقية الى اتباع طريق الهداية الصحيح وفعل الأعمال الخيرية كلما واجه الانسان مواقف واختبارات قاسية. فاتخاذ المسار الصحيح في جميع نواحي الحياة لا يؤدي إلا الى ألأمان وألأستقرار والتمتع بالضمير الحي والنقي، فهؤلاء الذين يفتقرون الى هذه المعطيات يكونوا مستعدين كل الاستعداد بالتضحية بجميع القيم الاخلاقية وعناصرالخيرمن اجل سلوك طريق الشر لتحقيق مآربهم الشخصية الشيطانية الدنيئة.
يتناول هذا البحث في المقام الأول تلك الشخصيات التي صورها جورج برنارد شو والتي تتخذ طريق الشر مسارا لها في حياتهم اليومية من اجل توفير اكبر كمية ممكنة من مال الحرام، وشهرة واسعة والتي من الممكن ان تتخذ اية افعال شائنة اخرى من خلال طرق غير شرعية وقانونية ممكنة. لذا يتناول البحث تلك الشخصيات الشريرة التي صورت من قبل الكاتب المسرحي والموسومة (بيوت ألأرامل) التي تشكل إحدى جوانب محور الشر في مسرحياته. تكشف هذه الدراسة كيف اصبحت هذه الشخصيات شريرة والاسباب التي جعلت منهم ان يكونوا إناسا شريرين.
