يهدف البحث إلى : معرفة مدى إلمام مدرسي الفيزياء للمرحلة المتوسطة لمهارات التفكير عالي الرتبة ومن أجل تحقيق أهداف البحث اعتمد الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، كما هو مبين بالخطوات الآتية: أعد الباحث مقياس لمهارات التفكير عالي الرتبة لمعرفة مدى إلمام مدرسي الفيزياء بها وتم عرضه على مجموعة من السادة الخبراء المحكمين لتحقيق الصدق الظاهري للمقياس ثم التأكد من وضوح فقرات المقياس واستخراج الخصائص السايكومترية للمقياس، وبذلك تكون المقياس من (45) فقرة، بعدها طبق المقياس على عينة البحث المؤلفة من (140) مدرس ومدرسة من مدرسي الفيزياء للمرحلة المتوسطة والثانوية بواقع (70مدرس) و (70مدرسة) الذين اختيروًا عشوائيًا من المدارس التابعة لمديرية التربية في محافظة كربلاء، وأظهرت النتائج باستخدام الحقيبة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية(SPSS-21) وبرنامج (Microsoft excel) في معالجة البيانات وكانت النتائج في الآتي:
مستوى إلمام مدرسي فيزياء المرحلة المتوسطة بمهارات التفكير عالي الرتبة أقل من المستوى المطلوب، أي: وجود فرق ذو دلالة احصائية لصالح المتوسط الفرضي عند المقارنة مع المتوسط الحسابي لدرجات اجاباتهم على المقياس.

The research aims to:
Know the extent to which physics teachers of the intermediate stage are familiar with higher-order thinking skills. In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher adopted the descriptive approach, as shown by the following steps:
The researcher prepared a scale for higher-order thinking skills to know the extent to which physics teachers are familiar with it and it was presented to a group of expert arbitrators to achieve the apparent validity of the scale and then ensure the clarity of the scale’s paragraphs and extract the psychometric properties of the scale, and thus the scale consists of (45) paragraphs, then The scale was applied to the research sample consisting of (140) physics teachers for the intermediate and secondary schools, with (70 male teachers )
and (70 female teachers), who were randomly selected from the schools affiliated to the Directorate of Education in Karbala governorate, and the results showed using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS-21) and the (Microsoft excel) program in data processing, And the results were as follows:
The level of knowledge of middle school physics teachers with higher-order thinking skills is less than the required level, that is, there is a statistically significant difference in favor of the hypothetical average when compared with the arithmetic average of their answers scores on the scale.
