تعد التكنلوجيا واحدة من مظاهر الحداثة وهي متنوعة وتتخذ اشكالا متعددة تحاكي الابداع وتسعى لضمان زيادة معرفة الانسان وتحسين ادائه وتعديل سلوكه،وبالتالي تعمل التكنلوجيا على صقل شخصية المتعلم وتهذيبها وتزويده بالمعرفة العلمية وبناء أفكاره وتهيئه متطلبات النجاح وفق مراحل دراسية أعدت وهي تتلاءم مع نمو العقلي والعمري. إن عالم التكنولوجيا عالم كبير اذا دخله الانسان سيجد الكثير من الاشياء التي تروق له، فلقد دخلت التكنولوجيا في كثير من مجالات الحياة، ويرى الباحثان ان التكلوجيا اتسع علميا في الآونة الاخيرة حيث شمل العديد من جوانب الحياة، ومن المتوقع فى الأعوام القادمة حدوث طفرات كبيرة فى مجتمعاتنا وخاصة المجتمعات التي تهتم بالعلوم وتطويرها، فالاختراعات العلمية الحديثة تنهال علينا دون توقف او ركود، ونجد أن العلم قد تطرق في كل شيء. ومن هنا لابد أن نعلم أن التكنولوجيا ليست محدودة على مجال معين، فأنت وفى أي مجال كنت عليك ان تكون على دراية بالتطورات العلمية التي تتعمق في المجال الذى تعمل فيه وعليك أن تكتسب خبرات جديدة دائما وأن يكون عملك سائرا على منهج علمي مدروس وهذا مما لاشك فيه سيساعدك كثيرا على النجاح، فأنت عضو في هذه الامة وأيا كنت فلك دور كبير و فعال . وتاتي اهمية البحث الحالي ليسلط الضوء على البناء المستدام للتربية الحديثة في ضوء مفهوم العولمة التي نعيشها في العصر الراهن، حيث اصبح الجانب التّكنولوجيّ من الجوانب الهامّة والأساسية في المجتمع، إذ أحدث تبدُّلاً وتحوُّلاً في مسيرة المُجتمعات على كافة الأصعدة الثقافية والسياسية والاجتماعية، لكنّه لا بُدّ من الإشارة إلى ضرورة رسم طبيعة العلاقة بين التّكنولوجيا والمُجتمعات لضمان اتّساق التقنية والحداثة مع قيم المجتمع، والوصول إلى حالة من التّكيف الواعي بينهما .
