الملخص
تعد الرحلات من النصوص الأدبية المفتوحة على الأجناس الأدبية والعلوم المجاورة إذ تصف بدقة عالية التفاصيل التي عاشها وعاصرها الرحالة خلال سفره عدا عن الناحية الاجتماعية. ومن هنا أيضاً استمدت كتب الرحلات متعتها حيث أن كل من يقرأ كتب الرحلات يشعر بالمتعة الكبيرة وكأنه عاش في تلك المدينة في تلك الفترة، فهي بمثابة فيلم سينمائي مصور تصف بشكل دقيق كافة التفاصيل خاصة إن امتلك الكاتب أسلوباً أدبياً شيقاً في الكتابة، ويتخذ التعامل مع الزمن المروي معيارًا للفصل بين السيرة الذاتية واليوميات . فالسيرة الذاتية أعرق من اليوميات الخاصــة , وترتبط أحيانَا كثيرة بمدة معينة من حياة الكاتب في حين تتصل اليوميات الخاصة بالماضــي القريب، ولئــن ســلك الجنسان اتجاهًا زمنيًا واحدًا ينطــلقان من الحــاضر إلى الماضي ومن لحظة الكتابة إلى لحظة التجربة، وقد حــفلت هذه اليوميات باســتعراض ثقافـات الرحالة المتنوعة، وحبهم للعلم وأثرهم في البلاد التي نزلوا فيها إلى جانب احتفاء اليوميات بوصف الأمكنة التي وقفوا فيها .

- Abstract
Travel literature is considered as a geographical reference and an important historical reference as it describes very accurately the details that the traveler lived and witnessed during his travels, in addition to the social aspect. This is also where travel books derive their enjoyment, as everyone who reads travel books feels great pleasure as if he lived in that city at that time. It is like a film that accurately describes all the details, especially if the writer has an interesting literary style in writing, and dealing with the narrated time is taken as a criterion for separating the autobiography from the diaries. The autobiography is more ancient than the private diaries, and is often linked to a limited period in the writer’s life, while the private diaries are connected to the recent past. Although the two genders follow a single temporal direction, they start from the present to the past and from the moment of writing to the moment of experience. These diaries are full of a review of the travelers’ diverse cultures, their love of knowledge and their impact on the countries they settled in, in addition to the diaries’ celebration of describing the places they stopped in.
