Abstract
Translation is one of the requirements of everyday life, as it is of a great importance in the transfer of science, literature and technology from one language to another.
In this research, we have discussed the importance of translation in societies and the role played by the translators through the transfer of ideas and science from Spanish into Arabic.
We also discussed the translation profession and the difficulties that the translator may encounter in his work, such as the practical difficulties of the lack of dictionaries in the Spanish language, and we have come to the conclusion that the translator may overcome these difficulties through his cultural and scientific aspirations in general.
الملخص
تعد الترجمة واحدة من متطلبات الحياة في وقتنا الحالي, لكونها ذات اهمية كبيرة في نقل العلوم والاداب والتكنلوجيا من لغة الى اخرى.
في بحثنا هذا تناولنا اهمية الترجمة في المجتمعات والدور الذي يلعبه المترجم من خلال نقله للافكار والعلوم من اللغة الاسبانية الى اللغة العربية.
تطرقنا ايضا الى مهنة الترجمة والصعوبات التي قد تواجه المترجم في عمله, كالصعوبات العملية التي تتمثل بنقص المعاجم الخاصة باللغة الاسبانية, وحاولنا ان نصل الى استنتاج يثبت بأن المترجم قد يتجاوز هذه الصعوبات من خلال تطلعاته الثقافية والعلمية بشكل عام.
