المُلخص
تُحاول روسيا الإتحاديّة إستعادة مكانتها ونفوذها في العراق، الأخير الذي أصبح منطقة مصالح إستراتيجيّة بالنسبة للولايات المُتحدة الأمريكيّة منذ العام 2003. لذلك ما زال العراق حتى يومنا هذا في المُدرك الإستراتيجي الروسي. وقد حاولنا في بحثنا التركيز على جذور أهمية العراق بالنسبة لروسيا مع عرض أهم الأدوات الإستراتيجيّة التي يسعى الروس توظيفها في العراق لتعزيز النفوذ والمصالح الإستراتيجيّة الروسيّة. وقد تطرقنا إلى التحديات والفُرص المُستقبليّة التي تقف أمام الطموح الروسي في العراق في ظل المُتغيرات السياسيّة والإقتصاديّة التي يشهدها العالم في الوقت الراهن، ولعل من أبرزها الصراع الروسي – الأوكراني أو الصراع الروسي – الأمريكي والغربي على الأراضي الأوكرانيّة، إن صح التعبير، فضلاً عن الآثار المُترتبة على العقوبات الإقتصاديّة المفروضة على روسيا على خلفيّة الصراع المذكور.

Abstract
The Russian Federation is trying to restore its position and influence in Iraq, which has become an area of strategic interests for the United States of America since 2003. Therefore, Iraq remains to this day in the Russian strategic perception. In our research, we tried to focus on the roots of Iraq’s importance to Russia while presenting the most important strategic tools that the Russians seek to employ in Iraq to enhance Russian influence and strategic interests. We have touched on the challenges and future opportunities that stand before the Russian ambition in Iraq in light of the political and economic changes that the world is witnessing at the present time, and perhaps the most prominent of them is the Russian-Ukrainian conflict or the Russian-American and Western conflict over Ukrainian territory, so to speak, in addition to the implications of Economic sanctions imposed on Russia due to the aforementioned conflict.
