Abstract
The present research tries to shed light on making inferences among four reading models. They are, namely: Mental model forms a mental picture in the mind of the reader depending on the content of the text, whereas minimalists make inferences by using the explicit content of a text only. Additionally, little prior knowledge is used by minimalism, but extensively by mental model. The constructionist model emphasizes the reader’s active role in processing the relevant information, whereas the resonance process is passive, i.e. the reader never actively searches memory but evaluates and associates the available information.

نماذج القراءة الاستيعابية وعمل الاستنتاج: مفهوم نظري

يحاول البحث الحالي تسليط الضوء على اجراء الاستنباط من خلال أربع نماذج قرائية. وهي: القراءة الذهنية التي تشكل صورة ذهنية في ذهن القارئ بالاعتماد على محتوى النص، اما قراء الحد الادنى فهم يقومون بالاستنباط من خلال شكل النص السطحي فقط. فضلاً عن ذلك، نموذج الحد الادنى يستخدم جزء قليل من المعلومات السابقة، ولكن تستخدم بكثرة من خلال النموذج الذهني. النموذج التكويني يوكد على الدور الفعال للقارئ في التعامل مع المعلومات ذات الصلة، في حين نموذج الصدى هي عملية سلبية، بمعنى ان القارئ لا يبحث بشكل فعال في ذاكرته، ولكن يقوم بتقييم وربط المعلومات المتاحة.
